Protect the Business. Preserve the Family. You Shouldn't Have to Choose.

A guided process for families navigating a transition that feels bigger than any one conversation.

You already know this is complicated.

It’s not just a business decision. It’s a family decision. It involves money, roles, identity, legacy, and probably a few conversations that have been avoided for years. Everyone has a different idea of what “fair” looks like. Everyone has a different timeline in their head. And the longer it stays unspoken, the harder it gets.

You don’t need someone to tell you transitions are hard. You need someone to help you actually get through yours, together, without losing what matters most.

In 30 years, we’ve never left a family without a clear path forward. That’s not a tagline. It’s how we work.

YOU MIGHT BE HERE IF…

You're not all on the same page.

The founder sees it one way. The successor sees it another. Siblings have opinions. Spouses have concerns. Side conversations are happening. But nobody has sat down together, with structure, and said: what does each of us actually want?

You've been avoiding the conversation.

Everyone knows it needs to happen. Maybe someone has tried to bring it up and it didn’t go well. Maybe nobody has tried because the stakes feel too high. Either way, the longer it sits, the more assumptions fill the silence.

You've tried, but it stalled.

Maybe you engaged advisors. Maybe you had a family meeting. But the people side never got addressed. The plan felt incomplete because it was built around documents and numbers, not around what your family actually needs.

HOW EVOLVE WORKS FOR OWNERS

How Evolve Works For Your Family

Evolve is a 12-month guided engagement designed to bring clarity, alignment, and a real plan to your transition. For families, that means everyone gets heard, the hard conversations happen with a guide in the room, and you come out with a roadmap that the whole family owns.

One-on-One Clarity

Before any group conversation happens, each family member works individually with your Transition Guide. What do you want for yourself? For the business? For the family? Getting clear on your own before sitting down together is what makes the group conversations productive instead of chaotic.

Facilitated Conversation

This is where the real work happens. Your guide brings the family together, creates a structure for the conversation, and makes sure everyone is heard. Not just the loudest voice. Not just the founder. Everyone. These aren’t therapy sessions. They’re strategic conversations with a clear purpose and a clear outcome.

A Roadmap on Your Terms

Using our Transition Compass and Objectives Matrix, your family builds a shared roadmap. Every commitment, timeline, and decision is documented and visible to everyone involved. No more side conversations. No more assumptions. One plan that everyone helped create.

Support That Doesn't Disappear

Monthly coaching, bi-weekly Group Labs with other families in transition, and a guide who stays with you through implementation. Transitions don’t happen in a single meeting. Your guide walks with you through the months where the real work gets done.

Not sure how to get everyone on the same page? That's exactly what we do.

Let’s start with a conversation about where your family is and what’s getting in the way.

The Conversation You've Been Putting Off

Every family we work with has one. Maybe it’s about timing. Maybe it’s about money. Maybe it’s about who’s really ready and who isn’t. Maybe it’s the one where someone finally says out loud what everyone has been thinking but nobody wants to be the first to name.

These conversations don’t get easier with time. They get heavier.

The assumptions pile up. The side conversations multiply. The resentment builds so slowly you don’t notice it until it’s already changed the way you talk to each other.

We create the space to finally have it. With a guide who’s been through it, a framework that keeps it productive, and the confidence that it won’t tear your family apart.

In fact, it usually brings them closer together.

THE TOOLS THAT MAKE IT WORK

Built for Families Like Yours

Every tool we use was developed by our founder, Elizabeth Ledoux, through 30 years of guiding families through transitions. Here are the ones families find most valuable.

The Objectives Matrix

You complete your own matrix: what do you want for yourself, for your family, for your employees, and for the business? When you share it alongside your successor's, you'll see where you're aligned and where the gaps are. No more guessing. No more assuming.

The Transition Compass

The Big 6 questions every transition must answer: WHY, WHAT, WHO, WHEN, HOW MUCH, and HOW. For owners, this is where you move from "I've been thinking about it" to "I know exactly what I want and why." Most owners tell us the WHY conversation alone was worth the entire engagement.

The iMAP Assessment

Our proprietary personality profile helps your guide understand how you communicate, make decisions, and handle conflict. It also helps you understand how your successor operates. The result is fewer misunderstandings and more productive conversations from day one.

The Transition Roadmap & Timeline

Your living document. Every commitment, milestone, and decision mapped to actual dates. This is the plan your successor, your family, and your advisors can all reference. It's what turns good intentions into real accountability.

Your Investment

The families who invest in this work avoid the outcomes that cost far more to repair: stalled transitions, fractured relationships, and deals that fall apart because the people side was never addressed.

Evolve is $2,700 per month

for families with up to 3 members.

That includes everything: your dedicated Transition Guide, monthly coaching sessions, bi-weekly group labs, and our full suite of proprietary tools.

We don’t charge a percentage of your deal. We don’t have hidden fees. It’s a flat monthly rate for your full transition journey

For larger families or a faster pace, Evolve+ starts at $5,400 per month.

Frequently Asked Questions

The process works best when the key decision-makers are involved. That usually means the founder, the successor, and anyone whose buy-in matters for the transition to move forward. But not everyone needs to start at the same time. We’ve had engagements where one family member began the work and others joined once they saw the structure.

That’s actually the point of the process. We don’t need you to agree before you start. We need you to be willing to have the conversations. Your guide creates the structure so disagreements become productive instead of destructive. And if it turns out alignment isn’t possible on something, your guide will tell you that honestly too.

They often have more at stake than anyone realizes. Siblings who aren’t involved in the business, spouses, and even the next generation all carry opinions and concerns that affect the transition. We help you decide who needs to be part of the conversation and when.

Plan for three to six hours a month per participating family member. That includes individual sessions, group conversations, and the bi-weekly Group Labs. It’s designed to fit into real life without requiring everyone to clear their calendars.

Evolve is designed to be 100% virtual. No travel required. We’ve found that consistent monthly and bi-weekly sessions create better momentum than occasional in-person intensives. That said, we offer optional in-person retreat days and family meetings for families who want them.

The Best Time to Start Is Before You Have To.

Let’s talk about where you are today, what’s on your mind, and whether Evolve is the right fit. No pressure. Just a real conversation about what’s possible.
