Ellen Robinson is the Founder and Managing Principal of the Robinson Coaching Group (RCG), an executive coaching practice she launched in 2012. In her coaching practice, she works with senior professionals and emerging leaders, supporting them in leading and living in a highly effective and satisfying way. She also works with business partners and teams to improve team effectiveness, addressing change, leadership development, and overall organizational effectiveness. She works with clients across industries and company stages.

Ellen founded RCG upon a successful track record of leadership in both Fortune 100 and entrepreneurial companies. Her roles include brand manager at Frito-Lay, general manager at Pepsi Cola, president, Ascent Sports (Colorado Avalanche/Denver Nuggets) where she earned a Stanley Cup ring and founder of EventConnex (her own technology start-up).

Robinson’s commitment to the Denver Metro community is unwavering. She has sat on the boards of The Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce, Mile High United Way, The Denver Foundation, and as a Trustee at Metro State University of Denver. She currently serves on the board of First Western Financial, Inc. (NASDAQ: MYFW).

She was a DBJ Outstanding Woman in Business award winner and graduated from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. She is a certified Integral Coach, receiving her certification from New Ventures West.

Ellen has a “growing” family, which, as she says, is what happens when you blend two families later in life. Ellen and her wife Kelly’s children are in their 20’s and early 30s. She is also an avid golfer and has travelled throughout the world.
